To help counteract and release difficult emotions such as anger it may help to use my RAIN technique- 


🀬 R: RECOGNISE strong emotions as they occur. 

😑 A: ACKNOWLEDGE and allow the emotion.

πŸ€” I: INVESTIGATE – bringing self- analysis and awareness to the moment eg what am I REALLY angry about, how could I think differently? 

πŸ™ƒ N: NON-IDENTIFY/JUDGEMENT – this serves to deflate and to minimise or to increase understanding that the emotion does not make up YOU - the person, but represents a moment in time and a situation.

Just allow the anger to release by breathing it out πŸ’—πŸ™πŸ’¨πŸŒ¬allowing the storm to pass to be replaced with calm.
