To slow down a racing mind β›ΉοΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ€Ύβ€β™€οΈπŸš΅β€β™€οΈπŸ„β€β™€οΈ - we need to become present so....

πŸ›‘βŒ S.T.O.P. βŒπŸ›‘

S: STOP what you are doing

T: TAKE A BREATH –breathe in and out naturally. Focus on your breath to aid your concentration in the moment.​

O: OBSERVE. Reflect on your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Consider your emotions too. Observe any damaging or negative thoughts where you may feel inadequate. Mentally name your thoughts and feelings and notice how this calms YOU.

P: PROCEED. Support yourself in the moment.

It is also a great idea to write these thoughts and feelings down (fast writing) or speak them out aloud (as long as you are not in the shopping centre! 🀣) to allow them to release.
